Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Picverce AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service includes

Picverce AI is a suite of AI image tools and generators available in English and Spanish, covering photo enhancement, upscaling, sharpening, restoration, colorization, background, object, and watermark removal, style transforms, and AI image, outfit, and hairstyle generation.

These terms apply wherever you use it from:

  • The website at picverce.com
  • The Public API at api.picverce.com
  • The MCP connector at mcp.picverce.com
  • The Picverce AI app for Shopify
  • The Picverce AI plugin for WordPress

3. Accounts

You need an account to use most tools. Keep your login details safe, and let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission. Accounts are meant for individual use.

4. API keys

An API key is a credential. It authenticates requests to the Public API, the MCP connector, and the apps, and every request it makes spends credits from your account.

  • Treat a key the way you would treat a password. Do not put one in a public repository, a web page, or anything a visitor can read.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your keys, including by software or by people you give them to.
  • A key is shown to you once when you create it. We cannot show it again, so keep your own copy.
  • You can revoke a key at any time from your account, and it stops working immediately.
  • We may revoke a key that is being abused, that appears to have leaked, or that is being used to work around limits.

5. Credits, plans, and limits

Picverce AI runs on a credit system:

  • Free accounts receive a daily allotment of credits.
  • Paid plans (Basic, Standard, Premium) include a monthly pool of credits that refresh on your billing date.
  • Credit packs can be purchased separately and do not expire.
  • Different tools and models consume different amounts of credits.
  • One pool covers everything. Work you run on the website, through the Public API, through the MCP connector, or through the Shopify or WordPress apps all draws on the same credits.
  • A job that fails releases the credits it was holding, so a failure does not cost you anything.
  • Uploaded files commonly have a maximum size (typically 5 MB) and must be PNG, JPEG, or WEBP; some tools may set different limits shown in the tool itself.
  • Processing time is not guaranteed and can vary with image size, model, and demand.
  • The Public API applies rate limits, and access to it requires a paid plan or a credit pack.

Current credit amounts, prices, and plan details are listed on our Pricing page, and the API limits are described in the API documentation. Both may change from time to time.

6. Acceptable use

These apply on every surface, whether you are clicking a button on the website or calling the API from your own code. You agree not to:

  • Upload or generate content that is illegal, or that exploits or endangers minors
  • Upload images you do not have the right to use or edit
  • Infringe someone else's intellectual property or other rights
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise abuse the Service
  • Use automated tools, multiple accounts, or multiple keys to work around rate limits, credit limits, or plan requirements
  • Resell access to the Service as though it were your own, or in a way that hides that Picverce AI is doing the work

7. Webhooks

You can ask us to notify a web address of yours when a job finishes. That endpoint is yours: you build it, you host it, and you are responsible for keeping it secure and for checking the signature we send with each message. We are not responsible for what a receiver of yours does with a notification, for data it exposes, or for anything that follows from an endpoint you left open. We may stop delivering to an address that keeps failing.

8. Apps and plugins

The Shopify app and the WordPress plugin both work by connecting to your own Picverce AI account with an API key you supply. Processing is charged in credits to the account behind that key, not as a separate charge on the other platform.

The WordPress plugin is free software, licensed under the GPL, and its whole source is included with it. Installing it does not create a second account or a second bill.

An app or plugin acts on the images an administrator or merchant chooses. If you install one on a site or a store you share with other people, you are the one deciding who can spend those credits, and we cannot tell the difference between a colleague and a mistake.

9. Other platforms

Shopify and WordPress are separate products run by other people. We are not responsible for their availability, their pricing, their data practices, or a decision either of them makes about your account or your store. Using Picverce AI through one of them does not change your obligations under their terms, and a change on their side may affect what our app or plugin can do.

10. Intellectual property

As between you and Picverce AI, you keep the rights to the images you upload and to the results you generate, subject to the license below. By using the Service, you grant us the license needed to process, store, and display your images as part of providing the Service to you. The Picverce AI name, logo, and site design remain our property.

11. Payments, renewal, and cancellation

Subscription fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your account reverts to the free tier afterward. Prices may change with notice.

12. Refunds

We offer a limited refund window under specific conditions. See our full Refund Policy for eligibility details, including the 7-day window and usage limits.

13. Disclaimers

AI-generated and AI-enhanced results are not guaranteed to be perfect, accurate, or suitable for every use. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, and availability may vary due to maintenance or technical issues.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Picverce AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, including revoking API keys and disconnecting an app. You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We will note significant changes on this page.
